About Us
Stagelab Coop SCCL is a technology cooperative based in Lleida that integrates technology and creativity to bring artistic and cultural projects to life.
Our journey began in 2009 with collaborations with artists and festivals, and over the years we have worked with multiple theater companies, individual artists, institutions, and various types of artistic and museum productions.
The project was consolidated in 2021 with the creation of the cooperative. Since then, we have developed tailored solutions in fields such as virtual reality, mapping, physical interaction, and automation of stage installations.
We also collaborate with institutions such as Centre d’Art La Panera, Museu Morera, Museu de Lleida, Animac, Gaudí Centre, the Venice Biennale, among others. With a multidisciplinary team and an open approach to research, we combine technical precision with artistic experimentation.
At Stagelab Coop, we believe in the use of free software within creative processes. Currently, among the projects we are driving forward is FormitGo, an open-source tool for multimedia content management.
We are committed to digital sovereignty, co-creation, and intercooperation as fundamental pillars of our model. We are driven by the interest in exploring new immersive formats, generating collective knowledge, and strengthening the technological autonomy of the cultural sector from the Terres de Ponent region to the world.
