Animacrea XR is an immersive artistic installation developed for the Animac Festival that invites the public to experience animation in an active and sensory way. Designed to be accessible and surprising for all ages, the experience is divided into two complementary phases.
First, participants put on Pico 4 Ultra Enterprise virtual reality goggles and use the OpenBrush tool to draw in three dimensions within a surrounding digital space. Their creations, expressive and unique, are automatically generated as three-dimensional pieces and hosted on the Sketchfab platform.
Next, these works are transferred to a mixed reality space where they can be viewed, manipulated, and combined in groups. Using shared tracking technology (LBE) and a multi-user system managed with Photon, participants physically interact within an augmented environment, playing with digital objects and building collective visual collages. All this is accompanied by spatial audio and an immersive gallery where creations can be explored, voted on, and downloaded.
